ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Taking and records patient's vital signs.
Dressing wounds, as needed.
Observing patients and reporting adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
Administering medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, and noting time and amount on patients' charts.
Assembling and using such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, and oxygen suppliers.
Collecting samples such as urine, blood, and sputum, from patients for testing and performing routine laboratory tests.
Recording food and fluid intake and output.
Bathing, dressing, and assisting patients in transferring, walking, and turning.
Managing supply inventories and requisitions
