Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Lead Management Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The individual will be responsible for operating and optimizing the Lead Management process across the organization to increase both sales opportunities and return on investment from marketing sourced leads.

This role works primarily with sales teams to prioritize leads and drive lead follow up. This role also works closely with marketing personnel to focus marketing on driving more leads, and more qualified leads. This is an operational role that owns the Key Performance Indicators for the lead funnel.

Key Responsibilities

?Prioritize leads properly so the most important ones are handled first, and provide input on lead prioritization when needed

?Ensure leads are routed in a timely manner to the right salesperson

?Measure the age of leads and follow up with salespeople to ensure leads are qualified and evaluated by the sales team in a timely manner

?Measure and report critical metrics for the lead process, including the number of leads, Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), and conversions

?Recommend enhancements to the lead process to improve on all key performance indicators

?Training and governance of sales teams for management of lead opportunities


• BS in Marketing or similar degree, or equivalent experience with 3-5 years experience or combination

+ Experience in gathering technical requirements from business users

+ Experience with project management

+ Strong understanding of marketing data and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

+ Understanding of lead data sources

+ Understanding of system data flow

+ Knowledge of data privacy

+ Ability to work with larger, more complex sales organizations

+ Experience qualifying sales leads

+ Experience measuring lead aging, MQLs, SQLs, and conversions

+ Experience with lead management or marketing automation systems

+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; attention to detail is crucial

+ Ability to work as a team member and contribute to the overall success of a team as well as work independently and handle multiple tasks

+ Ability to develop solutions that reduce total cost of ownership over the long run

+ Strong written and oral communication skills with internal customers and all levels of management in a non-technical manner, including across multiple functions

+ Customer focus and proven ability to build strong working relationships

+ Ability to organize, disseminate information efficiently gain consensus and set expectations

+ Strong time management skills, prioritization abilities and drive to take ownership of issues and tasks
