We are currently seeking the services of full-time Lead .NET Developer, for our Windsor, CT office. If you are dynamic, mature, ambitious, creative, and autonomous, you will appreciate working with our team of technology professionals committed towards producing superior applications for the Education Sector.


Specific Responsibilities:

* Provide technical/functional level subject matter expertise

* Lead and oversee team, including conducting code reviews

* Support Project Managers and staff during project life cycle execution

* Maintain highest level of application functionality, configuration, quality and data integrity

* Perform hands on technical duties including development, installation, configuration, maintenance and performance tuning for supported technologies

* Understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals

* Uses own judgment to determines optimal solution to recommend

* Provide day to day operational support

* Ensure that the team delivers high quality measurable results on time and budget

* Leverage strong communication and collaboration skills on a daily basis

* Demonstrate high professional and ethical standards

Required Skills:

* Understanding of software development life cycle and ability to perform activities throughout lifecycle:

* data analysis, design, development, configuration/customization and unit/user acceptance testing.

* Strong communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills

* Technical experience with:

* ASP.NET MVC, WebApi, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Angular/Vuejs

* C# and .NET Framework 4.5 +

* Microsoft SQL 2016 database skills and performance tuning

* Source code repositories like GIT and/or TFS

* Specflow, Gherkin scripts for Behavior Driven Development


Required Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters preferred

* 10+ years hands on technical experience (application development, technical analysis, systems architecture, experience building applications using REST API and micro services, responsive UI experience, etc.)

* 7 + years of application development experience

* 5 + years team leader experience

* 5+ years of SharePoint experience is preferred

* 2+ years of mobile app experience is a plus

* 2+ years of continues integration is a plus

Personal Attributes:

* Great written and oral communication skills, and the ability to reduce complex technical subjects for ease of comprehension by non-technical stakeholders

* Ability to make sound and logical judgments

* Good interpersonal skills, and demonstrated leadership and personnel/project management skills

* Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.

* Able to conduct research into issues and products as required.

* Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations

* Highly self-motivated and directed

* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail

* Strong customer service orientation

* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
