Description
Salary Range $51,000 to $54,000
Full COVID-19 vaccination required
The Lead Service Coordinator provides all services and functions of a Service Coordinator plus supervises assigned EI staff and ensures follow through of EI regulations, policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
+ Provides all services and duties of a Service Coordinator as specified by State standards
+ Maintains a reduced caseload of clients
+ Supervises, evaluates and provides orientation to assigned EI staff
+ Oversees staff training and the implementation of all new program directives
+ Oversees the functioning of the Early Intervention Service Coordination within assigned counties and assures compliance with NJDHSS standards; informs staff of changes in regulations
+ Conducts monthly chart audits and yearly filed observations, per State requirements
+ Maintains working relationships with Service Provider agencies assigned to counties
+ Coordinates EI county meetings and represents SNJPC
+ Compiles and submits reports and other documentation in a timely manner
+ Provides services in a culturally competent manner
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ Must meet NJEIS Personnel Standards for Service Coordinator as listed on:http://www.state.nj.us/health/fhs/eis/documents/njeis\_pra.pdf
+ 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
+ Demonstrated leadership skills
+ Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
+ Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
+ Skills and experience in case management community outreach, group process and parenting education preferred
+ Good organization skills, problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize work requirements
+ Ability to work well with families and providers
+ Ability to work with diverse populations; demonstration of cultural competence
+ Successful completion of system training including orientation and procedural safeguards
+ Valid driver’s license, current car insurance policy and car
+ Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
+ Experience with maternal and child health issues and target population preferred
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to see to read documents and hear well enough to communicate with others
+ Must be able to write, type on a computer, and use a telephone
+ Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
+ Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds

Work Environment:
Telecommutes with daily travel within the assigned county/contiguous counties where traffic, weather, and other environmental conditions may be encountered
