Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced and motivated professional for the role of a Logistics Management Analyst, with experience in supply chain management and/or related fields, including business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, and manufacturing. The successful applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman’s Life Cycle Sustainment Organization (LCSO) within the Mission Systems Sector, which is engaged in the evaluation, repair, and upgrade of our sustainment systems.


What you’ll get to do:


+ Understand the buyer’s role in establishing business arrangements, pricing and term agreements, and import/export compliance


+ Approach competitive and non-competitive sourcing in requests for quotation


+ Evaluate supplier proposals and place compliant purchase orders


+ Extract, monitor, analyze, and validate data information from multiple sources


+ Develop engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution


+ Utilize knowledge of terms and conditions, and/or special contract clauses/types such as: long term agreements and intellectual property agreements


+ Manage supplier quality and performance to support customer turnaround times


+ Support various DOD and commercial customers in a depot environment


+ Manage purchase orders for legacy products and support program leadership with leading indicators of status and estimate to complete (ETC) timelines


+ Function as liaison between company and suppliers, contact suppliers to ensure customer property and equipment are evaluated, repaired, and delivered on promised dates, determine when deliveries may be delayed and communicate to internal customers, maintain records and follow-up files of purchases, shipments, returns and related matters


+ Represent the organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects, interact with internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations


+ Analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts, recommending suppliers, follow up on orders placed, verifying delivery, approving payment and maintain necessary records


+ Work in a team-based manufacturing environment but must also be able to be self-directed


Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by Aerospace and Defense regulations.


**Qualifications:**


**Basic Qualifications:**


+ Bachelor's degree plus 3 years (or Master's degree plus 1 year) of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or related field


+ Experience in a manufacturing environment


+ MRP/ERP business system experience (SAP preferred)


+ Proficiency in MS Office suite with emphasis on strong Excel/data analysis skills, “digital visionary” a plus


+ Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences


+ Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately in a challenging environment


+ Proactive, analytical troubleshooter/problem-solver


+ Self-motivated multi-tasker


+ Demonstrated oral and written communication skills


+ U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance **Preferred Qualifications:**


+ APICS/ASCM CPIM or IPM CPSM certification


+ Knowledge of FAR/DFAR


+ Procurement and logistics experience


+ Familiarity with terms and conditions, and/or special contract clauses/types such as: long term agreements and intellectual property agreements


+ Demonstrated negotiation experience

Salary Range: $59,100.00 - $88,700.00


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
