Reporting directly to MNS National Technical Resource Manager, the MNS Regional Technical Resource Manager will be responsible for managing MNS Technical Resources within a defined Region of the US. Additionally, they will provide guidance with, and where necessary direct support of, multiple small to mid-sized clients with their managed network service needs across multiple markets. The Regional Technical Resource Manager will have direct interaction with MNS technical and sales resources, branch personal, and clients on a day to day basis. They will provide guidance and support for statements of work, findings & recommendations, quoting, best practices and management oversite of project-based work within their region. They will provide IT guidance as a trusted advisor for MNS customers where needed.
The responsibilities and authorities stated below are subject to established policies. Further, the Regional Technical Resource Manager is expected to provide guidance, direction, and oversite of for subordinates reporting to them.
+ Design, build, maintain, and support of client network infrastructure, servers, applications and other related IT hardware and software.
+ Obtain and maintain IT certifications required by company.
+ Create and maintain client documentation to ensure efficiency and consistency.
+ Interact with clients, internal staff, consultants and vendors.
+ Manage projects from start to finish.
+ Enter time sheets daily for all work performed.
+ Team coordination on larger client projects.
+ Project budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
+ Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
+ BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field a plus
+ Minimum 5 years hands-on management experience with a team of 5 or more of highly qualified technical resources
+ Minimum 7 years of hands-on technical expertise managing/supporting multi-server Microsoft environments.
+ Hands-on virtualization (Hyper-V and/or VMWare) experience.
+ Ability to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network firewalls and switches.
+ Must be a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or be willing to acquire certification as part of the employment agreement.
+ Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Azure and Office 365 technologies preferred.
+ Managed Service Provider and/or Managed Security Service Provider experience a plus.
+ Network-based Storage Technology (SAN) experience a plus.
+ Server, security, or network certifications a plus.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detailed oriented, ability to track and thoroughly communicate on multiple ongoing projects for multiple clients.
+ Must be able to manage groups of technical resources dispersed over multiple states.
+ Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as participate as part of a group managing other resources on larger projects.
+ Must be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Candidate must be comfortable actively communicating with all levels within an organization.
+ 30% local-day travel / 20% remote work / 50% overnight travel.
+ Valid driver’s license
+ Must be able to provide own reliable transportation
