THE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC 2 POSITION ENSURES THAT ALL PLANT PROCESSING AND FACILITIES EQUIPMENT ARE RUNNING AT OPTIMUM EFFICIENCY ON DAILY BASIS.
+ MAINTAIN AND REPAIR PROCESSING EQUIPMENT
+ MAINTAIN AND REPAIR FACILITIES EQUIPMENT
+ PERFORM PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ON PROCESSING AND PLANT EQUIPMENT
+ ELECTRICAL TROUBLE SHOOTING
+ MECHANICAL TROUBLE SHOOTING
+ COMMUNICATE AND DOCUMENT WORK PERFORMED
+ PERFORM ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
+ THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN MOMENCE, IL
1) ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS, TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR 24V- 480V 2) MECHANICAL TROUBLE SHOOTING AND REPAIR 3) WELDING & FABRICATION 4) PNEUMATIC TROUBLE SHOOTING AND REPAIR 5) MACHINE TOOL 6) PLUMBING & PIPE FITTING 7) FACILITIES REPAIR
EXCELLENT APTITUDE AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING TRADE SKILLS: 1) MECHANICAL REPAIRS 2) FUNDAMENTAL ELECTRICAL 24V TO 480V TROUBLE SHOOTING, REPAIR AND INSTALLATION3) WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF PLC’S, SERVO MOTORS/DRIVES, AC/DC VARIABLE SPEED FREQUENCY DRIVES 3) MECHANICAL TROUBLESHOOTING 4) PLUMBING/PIPEFITTING 5) WELDING & FABRICATING 6) MACHINE TOOL 7) ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING 8) FACILITIES MAINTENANCE. THE LEVEL 2 MAINTENANCE MECHANIC MUST DEMONSTRATE JOURNEYMAN LEVEL COMPETENCE IN ALL OF THE ABOVE TRADE SKILLS MANAGES AND PERFORMS PROJECTS INDEPENDENTLY AND MENTORS LEVEL 1 MECHANICS.
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATES IN ANY OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED TRADE SKILLS ARE BENEFICIAL
EXPERIENCE IN REPAIR OF HIGH SPEED PROCESSING AND PAPER CONVERTING EQUIPMENT WOULD BE HELPFUL.
