Position Title: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Reports to: Maintenance Department

Location: Hereford, Texas

Position Summary: Responsible for auditing and reporting effectiveness of entire Maintenance Computer system inclusive of, but not limited to; part identification, parts inventory, parts consignment, parts turns, total parts inventory, parts area security, and parts cycle counting. Leads parts clerks in organization and operation of Central Stores and Pole Shed areas. Must work with outside vendors in parts procurements. Must have good communications, be able to conduct meetings and make presentations.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the planning and scheduling and inventory of all maintenance parts in coordination with Maintenance Scheduler/Planner function.

* Develop and maintain procedures for planning, status reporting and tracking of all work requests requiring parts. Monitor the scheduling of processing for maintenance availability of equipment requiring parts.

* Maintain cost account procedures for charging Maintenance parts to appropriate departments.

* Responsible for analyzing total parts usage against critical parts inventory listing in an effort to reduce total parts inventory.

* Promote plant, maintenance department and personal safety.

* Responsible for follow-up of parts out for service.

* Covers Maintenance department in absence of shift supervisor.

* Complies with all Nestle and plant-specific policies.

Basic Qualifications:

3 years' experience in Maintenance Management including, budgeting, preventative maintenance, and asset control programs required.
