Air Products and Chemicals, a world-leading manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor at our Global Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
As part of the Facility Services Team the Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the Facility Engineer. The Maintenance Supervisor will manage a team Technicians to maintain and operate the Global Headquarters facility. In this position, the incumbent will provide technical support for all building control systems and maintenance activities.
Air Products Global Headquarters includes administrative offices, research and development labs and various support facilities. Facilities Services has responsibility for the operation and maintenance of equipment including HVAC, central chilled water plant, HW condensing boilers, site water system, compressed air system, industrial electrical distribution, solar array, fire protection systems, waste and storm water management systems and general building maintenance. Additionally, project services are provided to support business needs for space or lab modifications often involving specialized equipment.
III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

+ Be a leader in site safety, managing contractor and internal staff work holding all parties accountable to Air Products site safety standards without exception.
+ Possess the ability to troubleshoot problems with mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, control systems and logic. Ability to identify root cause followed by leading cost effective and sustainable solutions.
+ Use of maintenance management system (CMMS) to support day to day operations and facilitate workflow.
+ Manage preventative maintenance work through both internal work force and contracted support.
+ Manage and lead a team of Technicians supporting personal driving workflow and prioritizing tasks.
+ Supports site emergency response activities including spills response, medical emergencies, building and site emergencies.
+ Working knowledge of union labor agreements and ability to maintain good working relationships with bargaining unit personnel.
+ Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to address needs in a timely fashion.
+ Supports project work involving the management of space changes and general site improvements.
+ Evaluate, communicate, and respond to changing campus conditions and priorities in support of business needs.

+ High School Diploma or GED; B.S. Degree Preferred
+ Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in management of maintenance activities, and contract administration in the field of facilities management.
+ Previous experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
+ Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
+ Experience with CMMS systems preferred.
+ Experience managing modern office and laboratory facilities preferred.
