Aqueduct’s Managed Services Sales Consultant must be customer focused and have industry experience that enables them to have an immediate impact on our business. The successful candidate will employ world-class account management, collaboration, and strategic selling skills to work closely with Aqueduct’s sales organization to identify new clients as well as cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within established accounts. In this new role, the Managed Services Sales Consultant will play a pivotal role within this organization by acting as the sales driver for our Managed Services practice.


Essential Job Functions:


+ Stimulate sales growth by creating relationships with new customers, devising strategies aimed at attracting target customers, and using all available sales resources to produce optimal results


+ Pilot and write responses to customers RFI, RFP and RFQ


+ Meet customers for presentations, demonstrations, requirements gathering, and elaboration of our portfolio of Managed and Cloud Services


+ Work closely with cross functional teams for gathering requirements and proposing high value solutions for clients


+ Qualify and manage sales opportunities through the full sales cycle


+ Identify opportunities that would benefit from our technology portfolio using a consultative sales approach


+ Proactively maintain relationships with accounts and identify future opportunities


+ Establish strategic growth and margin targets for the Managed Services practice


+ Effectively gather intelligence and trends on markets, prospects, and the competition using various resources


+ Maintain a professional working relationship with vendors, partners, and internal service providers


+ Lead practice market positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, and sales training activities


Qualifications & Requirements:


Education & Experience:


+ BS in a technical degree or equivalent experience


+ 7+ years of sales experience working within Managed Services and Cloud Services organizations


+ 5+ years of experience selling Managed Services to companies with successful results


+ Knowledge of the latest market and cloud industry landscape and the proven ability to apply that knowledge to each prospective customer’s unique business needs


+ Proven track record in services sales, meeting quota targets, and developing client relationships


+ Proactive mindset: ability to anticipate questions, lead growth conversations


+ Comfortable with selling, managing, and delivering under pressure


+ Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel-centric go to market approach


+ Experience in positioning managed, hosted, SaaS, and on-premise propositions would be an advantage


Skills and Abilities:


+ Meeting facilitation and polished presentation skills


+ Strong interpersonal skills


+ Ability to provide weekly forecasts


+ Ability to multi-task and work with multiple accounts simultaneously


+ Ability to perform under pressure


+ Entrepreneurial attitude, working autonomously


+ Willingness to “wear many hats” and be flexible in the role


+ Ability to manage expectations both internally (within the company) and externally (customers)


+ Self-motivated and detail oriented


+ 'Whatever it takes' attitude and motivation to deliver above quota


+ Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales tools


Preferred:


+ Understanding of the Managed Services, Cloud Services, and Technology Landscape


+ Superb organizational and prioritization skills


+ Demonstrated experience establishing a vision and plan to guide a long-term approach to pipeline generation


+ Demonstrated ability to drive the preparation of business proposals


+ Experience working in an entrepreneurial style company is considered an asset
