Job Description Summary:

Directs and Manages Kid Kare Learning Centers day-to-day operations in accordance with state licensing requirements, regulations and Logan Health polices and procedures.


+ Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field required.

+ Minimum of three (3) years’ leadership experience required.

+ Minimum of two (2) years experience in a licensed or registered childcare facility required.

+ Successful completion of sixty (60) hours of infant toddler and sixty (60) hours of preschool courses preferred.

+ Current on the Early Childhood Practitioner Registry with successful completion of teacher orientation ARM37.95.163 required.

+ CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification must be successfully obtained within 90 days of hire required.

+ Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

+ Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

+ Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Management Job Duties:

Strategic Execution

Drive organizational objectives by operationalizing changes and initiatives effectively and efficiently. Proactively anticipate both the needs of Logan Health and the impact operations has on the organization’s success. Collect and analyze data, prepare and present recommendations, and explain associated benefits and risks for improving operations.

Job Specific Duties:

+ Accurately and efficiently maintains documentation to meet corporate, state and local regulatory requirements. Participates in and ensures compliance with surveys.

+ Responsible for tracking, maintaining and coordination of State Licensing requirements.

+ Recruits, interviews, hires, and evaluates assigned staff in accordance with Logan Health policies. Defines and modifies assignments and scheduling and ensures all assigned staff meet the state requirements.

+ Sets fiscal year budgets, and demonstrates an understanding of corporate budget responsibilities. Ensures daily operations are performed within projected budget guidelines. Keeps leadership informed of variances and creates productivity reports per department protocol.

+ Responsible for tracking, maintaining and coordination of all childcare program applications, scholarships, grant requirements and submissions. Tracks funding sources for all programs and other center funding sources per department protocol.

+ Tracks and updates employee education requirements. Ensures completion of applications for childcare providers to Helena and DPHHS Early Childhood Licensing per state requirements.

+ Acts as a role model in professional behavior, maintains a visible and participatory presence, addresses needs and/or concerns in a timely manner and functions in any capacity as needed.

+ Stays current in early childhood education requirements per department protocol.

+ Provides excellent family and staff engagement, acts as the point of contact for service recovery, and responds timely and professionally.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
