HR Recruiter

TPI Staffing is currently looking for a Human Resources Recruiter in the North Houston/Woodlands area!

This is a temp to hire opportunity paying up to $25 per hour or higher depending on experience. This role is responsible for full life cycle recruiting as well as supporting the HR department's goals and objectives. Hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Benefits upon hire include; 401K, 2 weeks vacation, and Enjoy a work out facility on the first floor!


  • Partner with hiring manager to determine staffing needs and ensure prior approval is obtained and ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
  • Pro-actively source and generate candidate leads through a variety of sourcing methods
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person)
  • Process Reference/background checks, and pre-employment testing
  • Be a strategic business partner with hiring managers by anticipating needs, suggesting solutions and providing and soliciting consistent feedback on a regular basis
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates
  • Frequent communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goal



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • 2 to 4 years industry or related corporate recruitment experience required
  • Experience in the automotive sales or insurance industry preferred.
  • Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the company.
  • Familiar with basic HR procedures, practices and state and federal employment laws
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and identify qualified candidates based on job requirements
  • Ability to partner strategically with all levels of management in the organization to support and anticipate staffing needs
  • Be able to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently, work independently and be motivated to achieve results
