Follow instructions to accurately prepare inks from a recipe sheet. Use a scale to measure ingredients with precision and accuracy and document amounts added in a log sheet. Use Excel and basic algebra to scale quantities as needed. Use planetary mixer, mixing blades and other equipment. Measure viscosity with a viscometer. Follow lab safety procedures when working with chemicals. Take proper precautions to prevent cross-contamination of chemicals and raw ingredients. Test and evaluate inks, raw materials and finished printed circuits using electronic and other types of measurement equipment in a way that is repeatable and reliable. Understanding of basic electrical concepts (current, voltage, power, etc.)o Measure brightness and electrical current.
Accurately document processes and procedures using Excel. Operate other lab equipment including Batch ovens, Planetary Mixer, Viscometer, Digital Scale/Balance, Filtration equipment, Sonicator. Clean room experience is desirable or understanding of basic clean room processes to avoid contamination. Able to understand and follow all lab safety procedures. Ability to read and understand technical documents and manuals.
Competence with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point), Quick learner that is able to follow directions and procedures, Able to think and learn on-the-fly, Understand Chemical Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and take appropriate precautions.
