**Position Summary:** The Marketing Development Analyst will develop and manage reporting and analysis tools and processes to support business decisions and Marketing Excellence programs across the Biosciences Division, globally. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of data analysis methods and business reporting tools and have experience structuring analysis to present key insights in support of business decisions. This individual will develop strong relationships with partners in the Business Units and Functions to identify and deliver scalable technology and training solutions that provide seamless reporting capabilities. Beyond these responsibilities, you will contribute to the overall evolution of the Marketing Excellence team and the Biosciences Divisional Marketing function.


**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**


- Support the identification, development, and deployment of Marketing Excellence programs across the Biosciences Division


- Develop analyses and reports that provide meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations, including investment in new tools and technology


- Lead the definition of “metrics that matter;” develop and socialize reports and dashboards to improve data-driven decision making


- Assist in collecting and coordinating monthly results for the BID Marketing organization and ensuring timely reporting


- Apply Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System


- Other projects and tasks as assigned


**REQUIREMENTS:**


- 5+ years of relevant work experience supporting Marketing or Commercial teams


- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life sciences field (Biology or related scientific area); MBA a plus


- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver results


- Familiar with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, etc.; able to learn and evaluate additional tools for suitability of implementation


**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:**


- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including across business areas and with global teams


- Able to cultivate collaborative relationships


- Proficient with Office suite of tools
