Fairview Health Services is looking for Medical Assistant to join our Pain Management team at the Riverside Clinic in Minneapolis, MN! This position is approved for **80 hours** every two weeks and is benefit eligible. This position also qualifies for a $4000 sign on bonus. The Pain Management Clinic at Riverside works with patients over the age of 18, with our most seen age group being between 50-70. This is one of our smaller locations and has a very tight knit staff. MA's at Riverside work with different specialties including: Physical/Med/Rehab and Pain. The last appointment is scheduled for 4:30 leading to excellent work life balance. This role is also a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio with the PA, NP, or MD. MA's working in Pain will also be asked to travel to our Burnsville location as needed.

As a member of the patients care team, a Medical Assistant supports quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/support system. The Medical Assistant will collect information and detail the patient's visit. MA's are responsible for adhering to policies, procedures and practice guidelines; promoting communication with all members of the team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.
Medical Assistants deliver care as delegated by the patients Physicians, or RN. They are able to prioritize work based on need, available resources, patient preferences, provider schedule, and work in collaboration with the physician/authorized practitioner as well as other health care team members. Performing technical procedures during daily work which could include: medication administration, assistance with CPR, assistance with procedures-including lab draws
