Manager, Medical Communications

Full-time, (home)based in the US

In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, development, and execution of client and internal facing content in support of BCD’s LSCOE and Centricity client efforts. This includes and is not limited to RFP response support, proposals, client presentations, marketing collateral, case studies, social media content, traveler/patient engagement strategies specific to Life Sciences and specific customer deliverables.

A snapshot of this opportunity

+ Determine communication priorities with internal stakeholders

+ Integrate value messaging into communications to advance a compelling narrative for a given audience

+ Support ongoing life sciences education across aligned program teams

+ Gather insights and collaborate with customer facing teams to improve upon existing collateral

+ Support traditional sales and marketing strategies through content and creative asset development

+ Ensure content and publications are developed with a high degree of integrity, accuracy, and relevance

+ Produce relevant, market specific white-papers, study reports, press releases and thought leadership

+ Act as project manager for assigned deliverables, creating/managing project timelines and ensuring deadlines are met (including Salesforce campaigns, RFAs, etc)

+ Develop presentation materials for assigned projects, recommending best medium based on project/client scope

+ Effectively and clearly describe research results, product use, and other medical information

+ Liaise with internal and external compliance stakeholders to ensure consideration for all ethical, regulatory, and legal issues

+ Research, compose, and edit clinical/statistical reports and study protocols

How you can set yourself apart

+ Must exhibit high degree of expertise and understanding across the life sciences sector. This includes and is not limited to drug development, specialty players, program drivers, innovations, partnerships, the needs of healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical industry regulations.

+ Must possess knowledge regarding global strategic travel and meetings programs

+ Must be agile and adapt to regular re-prioritization of multiple projects and priorities, responding swiftly to urgent requests and delivering accurate work under aggressive timelines

+ Excellent customer storytelling skills across multiple channels, presentations, collateral, etc.

+ Presentation design – advanced skill in PowerPoint and other mediums

+ Proofreading – accuracy and attention to detail

+ Executive level (C-suite) communication skills required

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills and able to interpret data

+ Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, communications, English or journalism is a plus

+ Experience in managing and developing content for social media platforms is an asset
