As your Home Respiratory and DME equipment and services provider, our number one priority isthe safety ofour patients and our employees. PPE is provided to all of our employees that will have contact with patients.

Wehave implemented the following measures:

  1. We are maintainingsocial distancing ofat least 6 feetin both the workplace and during home delivery/pickup, whenever possible.
  2. We are asking patients to complete a screening questionnaire to determine high-risk situations for our employees.
  3. We have enhanced cleaning procedures for all of our equipment.
  4. We are communicating frequently with our employees regarding the latest guidance from the CDC.


We are seeking a dedicated Market Distribution Manager. Responsible for the day-to-day management of company operations for multiple branches within your geographic region; exercise management principles to ensure profitability, control assets and communicate company philosophy and objectives to the staff and community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for revenue growth and market profitability management
  • Drives sales initiatives for the market
  • Effective management of overtime costs
  • Ensures achievement of A/R objectives for the market
  • Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are met
  • Ensures that all employees are adhering to policies and procedures
  • Ensures that competency testing has been performed and documentation is on file for all employees as required
  • Ensures that the market complies with operational procedures, regulatory compliance and JCAHO regulations
  • Evaluates subordinates for accountability, performance and productivity and provides feedback, coaching and training
  • Executes budgets within the market, identifies negative variances and uses sound business practices to correct
  • Hires subordinate staff and ensures they receive adequate training
  • Maintains an atmosphere of accountability where employees are held responsible through documented coaching/counseling when their performance does not meet company standards
  • Manages a process that tracks and measures the performance and productivity of the market sales team
  • Monitors financial reports of the market looking for opportunities to improve performance and implementing timely corrective action plans
  • Monitors staffing levels, expenses, equipment utilization and inventory to ensure maximum market performance
  • Provides a safe working environment for all employees in compliance with all federal, state and local laws including: DOT, FDA, EEOC, OSHA and other agencies
  • Understands and implements medical regulations and guidelines for reimbursement
  • Works closely with Region or Area Manager to implement policies, protocols, programs, company initiatives and tools to improve performance and achieve company goals
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Maintains appropriate documentation regarding personnel performance
  • Maintains sales team profiles, active referral account information and market analysis data within the market
  • Manages professional development plans for all direct reports
  • Responsible for the supervision of employees within the market

Job Requirements:

Employment is contingent on

  • Background investigation (company-wide)
  • Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
  • Valid drivers license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors degree; MBA preferred
  • Three years directly-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience highly desired
  • Previous sales experience, management experience required
  • Previous clinical or DME experience is a plus

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Able to review and understand a variety of financial, employee performance and management reports and apply to management of personnel
  • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, with physicians, location employees and patients to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
  • Helpful, knowledgeable and polite while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Interprets a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums
  • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
  • Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
  • Multi-task along with attention to detail
  • Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
  • Understand basic financial analysis
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands

  • Lift and carry up to 10 pounds
  • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking or listening
  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork

  • Email transmission and communication
  • Type on a computer and or a tablet
  • Internet navigation and research
  • Microsoft applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power-Point, Publisher, Access, etc.
  • Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer
