The Eliot Center is seeking a Mental Health Clinician (MSW, MA, license preferred) to provide treatment services to children, adolescents, adults, & families through a contract with the Town of Lexington. Position is responsible for triaging referrals, providing an array of trauma informed & strengths-based treatment services, collaborating with the Town’s human services department, schools & other collaterals. Ideal candidate is creative & passionate about working with children & teens and has experience working with a diverse population. Position is based full time in Lexington & requires some flexibility in schedule to meet the needs of the population. Knowledge of various insurance regulations, as well as a demonstrated expertise working with children, adolescents, adults and families across the diagnostic spectrum. Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and maintain collaborative relationships with Clinic staff, outside agencies, and other providers. Excellent written and organizational skills. + Triage referrals and p rovide diagnostic evaluation and treatment services to clients utilizing various evidenced based interventions which best address specific problem areas; displays good judgment; and in collaboration with clients, formulates & implements focused treatment plans.
+ Create safety plans when indicated and provide crisis intervention services.
+ Maintain effective collaborative relationships with staff in order to ensure good communication for the coordination of clinical services and office operations.
+ Collaborate and coordinate care with outside providers and other collaterals.
+ Maintain a caseload that meets Clinic productivity expectations.
+ Provide appropriate and on-going documentation.
+ Provide staff orientation and training to program requirements, policies and procedures.
