About the Job: The Neurology technician is responsible for anticipating and meeting the needs of the Neurologist. Sophisticated testing and equipment often aid in the diagnostic process, and it is the responsibility of the Neurology technician to set up and assist with a variety of procedures including but not limited to; MRI and CT Imaging, bone marrow aspirates/biopsies, CSF and Joint taps. The Neurology technician must be familiar with a wide range of laboratory tests, and will be required to properly obtain, store and process lab samples. Many procedures require sedation or general anesthesia, and a Neurology technician may be asked to monitor very high-risk anesthetic patients.
+ Have two or more years’ experience.
+ Completed an AVMA accredited veterinary technology program and certification in the state of California is highly desired.
+ Possess a strong ability to anticipate the needs of the doctors and have excellent communication skills
