The Administrative Supervisor is a crucial position for the organization. The position is responsible for oversight of hospital operations, overnight and on the weekends during the absence of Clinical Management. This role supervises and evaluates staff in all departments of the facility and acts as a liaison between departments and personnel. This role evaluates unit staffing levels making adjustments as needed, evaluates patient care activities, interprets departmental policies, serves as a clinical and managerial role model and is accountable for operating, personnel, and patient care decisions.
Requires WA State Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire date.
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic nurse management and leadership skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple issues. Strongly prefer candidates with BSN degree.
