CP Unlimited is a broad based multi-service organization providing services and programs for people with developmental disabilities. In the NYC metropolitan area, the agency operates an extensive community based living program, day habilitation programs, and community habilitation services. CP Unlimited focuses on giving people the personal, social, and vocational supports needed to live in their communities. Care coordination is provided to assist persons with disabilities and their families in gaining access to service and support appropriate to their needs. Metro Services also provides rehabilitation, nursing, behavioral, dietary and Article 16 services including counseling, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

CP Unlimited is currently seeking two Nursing Supervisors to join our team of professionals in either our Manhattan or Queens Community Living Service Programs.

Specific Duties Include:

•Supervises borough nurse case managers/Day Program nurses to assure delivery of quality health care services and regulatory compliance.

•Regularly visits all Residential/Day Program sites within the borough to ensure quality care.

•Manages nurse case manager caseload assignments, on call responsibilities, time, attendance, and days off. Mentors and orients new nurses.

•Attends meetings and participates on committees as needed or assigned.

•Acts as a resource to others regarding health services and clinical information.

To qualify for this position you must possess the following:

•NYS RN License

•Prior nursing experience and/or experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.

•Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•Ability to travel to and access multiple locations throughout the metropolitan area.

•Able to work flexible hours and/or days.
