Orchard City Kitchen is chef driven restaurant looking for service-oriented individuals dedicated to the excellence of hospitality to join our management team and work along side a Michelin-recognized chef.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• Driven to be detailed with regards to service standards
• A passion and working knowledge regarding food, techniques, ingredients, seasonality, and various cuisines • An understanding of wine, beer, and spirits as well as proper wine service and etiquette • Fostering a positive working environment • The ability to provide proper training, coaching, and development of both FOH and BOH staff members • A care for hospitality and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced high volume environment. Must be flexible, resourceful, and efficient. • Hands-on with regards to maintaining service and ensuring all stations are performing from the Hosts, Runners, Servers, etc. • Effective in communication • Maintaining a firm grasp on the P&L, budget, and labor control • Open availability including weekends and holidays • 3+ years in restaurant management
• Food Safety Certification required
