The Partner Sales Exective is hyper-focused on "sell through" and "sell-with" partner sales teams. This role is the primary driver that engages, trains, develops and enables partners to sell Commvault products and services. Depending on region and territory, the role supports either named or unnamed partners and customers, Through sales coaching, support and joint-selling, the Partner Sales Executive helps the partner uncover and identify customer business challenges and opportunities that result in new software license, service or revenue growth. In short, Partner Sales Executives bring new clients to Commvault via engaged and enabled Partners.

Job Responsibilities

* Enablement, Sell-Through responsibility for partner sales teams focused on Unnamed Accounts

* Accountable for the overall SALES relationship

* Develop Partner sales teams around selling 'Sell-With' Solutions, focused on Unnamed accounts

* Determine which partners and providers have local sales presence and are best to work with CV Demand Generation in an assigned Geography

* Ongoing Partner field sales relationship and cadence

* Pipeline and Customer Acquisition Discussion and Sell through strategy

* Recruit individual Partner Sellers

* Increases the velocity and frequency of transactions through the territory partner channel resulting in a consistent, growing book of business within the territory.

* Contributes to territory partners' skillsets though sales coaching, joint account selling, and partner-driven campaigns.

* Develops a Territory Execution Plan that includes a roadmap of all key sales & marketing campaigns, all key partner relationships and activities, all target accounts for the territory.

* Performs the role of strategic orchestrator/slaes director for their partner selling teams, ensuring periodic review of pipeline, deals and accurate forecasting.

* Hard quota carrying role, works with Partners to manage and close deals in pipeline throughout the sales cycle.

* Skilled at leading matrixed teams in account strategy and execution; strong ability to influence without authority; ability to lead and influence multiple partner based sales and technical resources to deliver on forecast and meet revenue goals.

Required Skills/Experience

* Degree level education and/or 3+ year's sales experience in a partner, channel role.

* Strong ability to build and develop relationships on a business, professional and personal level; consultative mind and skillset

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to lead and manage multiple partner based sales and technical resources to deliver on forecast and meet revenue goals.

* Strong understanding territory-based, partner ecosystem

* Proficient knowledge of software and/or infrastructure products and services; can translate technology to business value for both partners and customer.

* Proven track record of achieving annual revenue, partner relationship quotas

* Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities

* Ability to travel 60% of the time within assigned territory
