Reporting to the Director of Finance, the manufacturing Plant Controller partners with operations leaders and plant leaders to provide financial analytics that drive business results in support of the short-term and long-term value of the assets, liabilities and investments of the plant. The position delivers analysis as part of the finance processes, linking financial results to operational performance drivers. The position interfaces with internal customers and stakeholders in the plant and corporate finance functions, driving continuous improvement to deliverables and processes supporting these customers. The Plant Controller will be a dynamic leader within the business by providing valuable decision support analysis and driving business success. Specific responsibilities include:

* Providing financial analysis and guidance for the plant manager and leadership teams at the facility.

* Annual budget and quarterly forecasting for plant material, labor, burden and freight.

* Capital projects performing analysis on advisability of expenditure via ROI calculations. Ensuring that proper documentation is provided to expenditure committee. Perform look back analysis on capital projects.

* Work with plant managers to conceive, analyze, and drive to completion all profit overachievement opportunities

* Actively support the physical inventory counts and cycle counts.

* Period end and year end close activities journal entries, review of expenses, and variance analysis.

* Report on plant performance/variances at monthly close meetings and in operations staff meetings

* Serve as key member of leadership teams at the facility.

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required.

* 5-7 Years of financial analysis and leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.

* Advanced Excel and database skills, MS Office, Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Oracle or equivalent ERP.

* Excellent analytical and communication skills.

* Ability to handle multiple projects at once and prioritize.

* Process driven with ability to think critically.

* Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating with remote business partners.

* Must be proficient in data gathering and analysis tools to create meaningful reports with ability to draw conclusions and problem solve.
