Highland is seeking a bright, hard-working Senior Associate that will work within the healthcare private equity team on sourcing, due diligence, analytics and executing investment opportunities. This is an opportunity for an extraordinary performer who demonstrates excellent analytical and research skills through professional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

* Work with investment banks, industry experts and other intermediaries to source potential healthcare investment opportunities

* Take a leading role in the evaluation, diligence, structuring and negotiation of potential investments

* Perform all pertinent financial analyses, including LBOs, comparables, and precedent transactions

* Prepare due diligence packs, providing relevant, informative materials

* Prepare written summaries and presentation materials

* Build detailed operating models on prospective deals

* Draft investment memorandum and marketing materials

* Conduct research on healthcare companies, trends, and sub-industries

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 2 years of Investment Banking/Sell-side experience and 2 years of Private Equity/Corporate Development related experience (Healthcare experience preferred)

* MBA, CFA preferred

* Excellent modeling skills, analytical and financial acumen

* Excellent communication skills oral and written

* Presentation skills able to deliver compelling and concise presentations

* Strong work ethic and self-motivated

* Resourcefulness and thoroughness in conducting financial analytics

* Dealing sourcing and project management skills
