The Project Accounting Analyst position within the Aeronautics Accounting team is responsible for maintaining proper cost segregation within the Projects System module of Systems, Applications and Processes \(SAP\)\. This position is responsible for issuing and maintaining Work Breakdown Structures \(WBS\) in accordance with established policies & procedures while maintaining FAR/CAS compliance\. Candidate will work to ensure auditable documentation is maintained, proper settlements are established & accurate setup of key cost/financial elements on the WBS\. The candidate should possess strong communication and problem solving skills as this position heavily interacts with other functions within Accounting, Program Finance and Contracts\.

A level 2 employee **Typically has 2 \- 5 years** of professional experience\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with Master’s degree in Accounting

**Desired Skills:**

Active CPA license or equivalent certification, or pursuing CPA license

Experience working in the aerospace industry or with defense contracts

SAP experience

Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, or KNIME is a plus

Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Experience in process improvement

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite Products with emphasis on Excel
