PROJECT SUPERVISOR (DLA-18-1040-W)

Bowhead seeks a Project Supervisor to organize, direct, and coordinate planning, production activities to support Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Supply Branch located in Crane, IN. The Project Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day program management and leadership of program operations by developing management procedures and controlling, planning, and directing project execution; monitoring and reporting progress; managing program/project resources; and managing and controlling financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract requirements.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

* Explains policies, purpose and goals of the contractor's organization to subordinates

* Formulates and reviews strategic plans and deliverable items, determines contract costs and ensures conformance with standards

* Actively assures the implementation and compliance of the Quality Assurance Plan

* Engages in regular face-to-face meetings with the COR, and provide required reports and documentation to the COR in a timely mannerRequirements Bachelor's Degree (preferred) and 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications.

* Experience in validating technical and financial reports, analyzing metrics and identifying areas for improvement

* Previous experience overseeing numerous tasks by multiple logistic managers in different geographic locations

* Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

* Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and good judgment

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands: The office environmental conditions consist of computer stations and desks with adequate and adjustable lighting. Chairs are designed to fit the various individuals and the tasks being performed. Ergonomic evaluations are completed as needed, to provide up to date modifications to all work stations.

Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification.
