The Promotion Coordinator is responsible for coordinating department functions and assisting Promotion staff with projects, schedules, and other marketing responsibilities.
What you'll do:
+ Create and distribute daily and weekly BDS and Mediabase radio tracking reports on all active singles.
+ Pull radio charts, competitive consumption comparisons, and other essential data including Shazam, YouTube, TikTok, Chartmetrics.
+ Analyze weekly streaming and consumption charts, share highlights and points of interest for format captains and field staff.
+ Track radio adds for all formats regularly for weekly radio reports.
+ Generate Pandora data for weekly radio reports.
+ Maintain single schedule and communicate internal deadlines for assets needed to product managers.
+ Communicate with product managers and label coordinators to create one sheets consisting of competitive data and information for priority campaigns.
+ Create assets to support radio contesting and social / digital promotion efforts.
+ Attend and prepare materials for all necessary radio/marketing meetings. Attend marketing meetings and communicate back to team when needed.
+ Circulate tour dates and obtain ticket/promotional presents requests for critical radio artists.
+ Work with managers, labels, and any stakeholders to obtain promo tickets or purchase if critical need.
+ Plan promotional tours including securing venues, travel, coordinating scheduling with artists/managers.
• Assist in coordination of artist interviews/performances for station visits or virtual content.
+ Assist in covering promotional/station events when needed. May require for you travel occasionally.
+ Work with Promotion Dept Manager to organize and improve department efficiency.
What you need:
+ Ideal candidate has one year of experience or some combination of internships.
+ A working knowledge of Mediabase, BDS and Music Connect is preferred.
+ A elf-starter who has strong command of analytics and understands how marketing and promotion drive consumer behavior.
+ College degree and/or relevant experience is strongly encouraged
+ Candidate must have excellent time management and organizational skills
+ Candidate must have excellent command of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent such as Keynote or similar presentation software
+ Candidate must be able to create, manage and service a minimum of three (3) weekly email newsletters which are already built in a template through Mail Chimp. Management of this process includes working with format captains to curate content and messaging as well as analyzing open rates and engagement within the emails.
+ Candidate will be required to measure weekly engagement and make content suggestions to improve and build our direct relationship with radio.
*Job is hybrid, requiring 3 days a week minimum on site
