Job SummaryResponsible for providing revenue management and reimbursement support for Phoebe Health Partners (PHP) and Phoebe Putney Health System (PPHS) managed care activities. Interact with provider and hospital business office personnel, contracted employer groups, and networks to identify, address, and resolve claim payment discrepancies and contractual reimbursement issues. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of Phoebe. Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills. Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelinesWorking Conditions General environment\: Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels. May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur. May be scheduled as needed including overtime

Qualification:

Education Requirements 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in In a related field (Required) ;In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree; an Associate Degree and a Minimum of 4 years additional relevant experience is acceptable. Master's Degree in In a related field (Preferred) Experience Requirements 4 - 5 years Managed Care/Revenue Management(Required)General Skills Organizational Skills,Communication Skills,Interpersonal Skills,Customer Relations,Analytical,Grammar / Spelling,Read / Comprehend Written Instructions,Follow Verbal Instructions,Basic Computer Skills,Microsoft Office Suite,Current knowledge and experience with managed care procedures including financial arrangements, reimbursement methodologies, claims billing, and revenue management..Physical Requirements Have near normal hearing; Hear alarms/telephone/tape recorder/normal speaking voice Have near normal vision\: Clarity of vision (both near and far), ability to distinguish colorsPhysical Demands Occasionally within shift (1-33%) \: Standing,Walking. Frequently within shift (34-66%) \: Sitting.Certifications and Licensures
