Job Responsibilities

* Partner with business leaders to develop customer focused KPIs to uncover Lean/ Six Sigma project opportunities

* Providing leadership and direction to cross-functional teams empowered to execute the Lean Six Sigma strategy for process improvement, productivity improvement and cost reduction

* Using the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, tools and tactics to lead & deliver improvement projects to enhance customer satisfaction and business efficiency

* Seek, share, and implement best practices

* Serving as a change agent in institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma quality, continually promote an environment of continuous quality improvement

* Facilitating, training, and coaching Green Belts in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools.

* Develop a network of Green belts throughout the organization.

* Capability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels within an organization on initiatives, projects and progress.

* Lead and drive RCAs (Root Cause Analysis)

* Facilitate cross functional team work outs, process/ value stream mapping

* Partner with Finance to incorporate project savings into long-range financial plans and operating budgets

Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise:

* Strong leadership skills

* Project Management experience

* Preferred RCA certified

* Proficient using minitab

* Past experience with training and mentoring Six Sigma Greenbelts

* Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical ability

* Strong time management, influencing and communication skills required

* Ability to manage multiple projects

* High Energy; Self Starter A Must

* Flexibility to travel

Required Qualifications

* Bachelors degree level of education preferably in engineering or a related technical field.

* 5+ years experience leading improvement projects in a large industrial organization or operational management

* Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

* Knowledge of statistics, statistical control methods, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma DMAIC.
