Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to the patients admitted in the Obstetric, Gynecology and Nursery Units. Assist physicians in various procedures related to delivery, postpartum, cesarean sections, circumcisions, and newborn care.

Report to: Acute Care Services Director

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

*Required Licenses*

[Wyoming, United States] Registered Nurse

Must have current and valid Wyoming RN License or equivalent compact

*Required Skills*

Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association

Current ACLS Certification or within 90 days of hire or transfer into department

NRP within 6 months of hire or transfer date

AWHONN Intermediate Fetal monitoring within 9 months of hire or transfer to department. AWHONN Intermediate Fetal monitoring provides a course completion rather than certification and it is the expectation that all WHU RN's participate in a course every 2 - 3 years from initial successful course completion.

STABLE current or within 18 months of hire or transfer to department
