ScentAir is looking for an experienced Account Executive with a history of bringing on new business who’s ready to break new ground in the revolutionary indoor air quality industry.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:


As an Indoor Air Quality Account Executive, you will have front line responsibility for strengthening the brand image and sales performance of ScentAir’s indoor air quality products and services. You’ll be calling on businesses of all sizes and selling the power of the science behind ScentAir’s air purification solutions. You’ll be responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly sales goals by securing new client appointments, successfully building a sales pipeline through continuous, on-going prospecting, and building programs to meet client needs.


As a ScentAir employee, we’re as invested in your success as you are. During your first 6 months with us, you’ll participate in a world-class sales training program to prepare you for the nuances of selling clean air technology. The program includes product knowledge, mentorship, sales process, and business development strategies.


After your first 6 months, you’ll be working autonomously as you bring in new business and crush your sales goals.


Here’s how you’ll be doing it:


+ Research, identify and generate business opportunities in new and existing customers via the phone, web and onsite visits


+ Serve as a key business partner to other ScentAir Account Executives, fostering and maintaining strong relationships to grow and expand sales


+ Forecast, manage, close, and provide initial post-sale support throughout your territory


+ Monitor and update individual activity and forecast data in Salesforce on a regular basis with a focus on data accuracy and integrity


+ Understand competitor information and insights related to sales positioning and strategy


+ Simultaneously focus on short term deal closure and long term prospect development


+ Stay current on product updates to ensure understanding of use in customer business applications


The skills you bring to the table:


+ New account generation is your thing


+ You can create and execute a sales plan for a large territory


+ You’re all about solution selling and creating value for business clients


+ Tech-savvy, you know your way around a CRM—preferably Salesforce


+ You can memorize technical information and present it to the customer in an understandable, engaging manner


+ Strong communication and presentation skills, both virtually and in person


+ You’ve got fire in your belly! You take initiative to develop personally and professionally and need little supervision


+ Self-motivation, with the drive to compete while remaining a fantastic team player


+ The ability to thrive throughout change while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable


The background you have:


+ You’ve got 2+ years of demonstrated success achieving or exceeding targets in an Enterprise/B2B sales environment


+ Previous experience in HVAC/air quality, Govt/Ed., Medical, or Hospitality is a plus but not a requirement


+ A BA/BS degree from a college or university is nice, but relative business experience will work too


+ Valid driver’s license, access to regular transportation and automobile insurance
