The Opportunity

Rodan + Fields is seeking a Regional Manager to join our Field Development team. As a member of the Field Development team you will serve as a Field Development expert supporting the field leaders and their teams as you plan an integral role in implementing Field Development strategies and initiatives that will enable Rodan + Fields' position as the direct selling business ownership opportunity in the anti-aging skincare market. Specifically, you will be providing training, delivering presentations, participating in field-driven engagements and corporate events. You will also be expected to develop, implement and achieve business goals in the given area (i.e. revenue, enrollment, etc). You will work closely with Regional Directors, the Learning & Development Team, Global Programming Team, Finance, and other cross-functional Partners. Your success in the coaching and promotion of individual Field Leaders will be paramount to your success.

The Regional Manager must be driven and empower R+F Consultants to succeed in their businesses. In partnership with the key business stakeholders, they will be responsible for executing upon a regional plan that elevates the business acumen of the field. This will include identifying needs in target markets and leading events in the field. This position reports directly to the Regional Director; while also working cross functionally to ensure consistency with all corporate key initiatives.


* Establish and develop the area's quarterly plans, budgets and performance targets

* Collaborate with Regional Directors, Region Events and Learning & Development on events, initiatives and quarterly business review as well as overall company strategy

* Develop, organize and actively participate in company and Independent Consultants' meetings

* Identify and support opportunities for field leadership acquisition and development

* Constantly assess Consultant success and business outcomes in the context of compensation plan strategy, providing feedback and recommendations to the company to optimize and drive Consultant performance

* Support regional Consultant leadership development, coaching individual leaders and their teams and recognizing and reinforcing successful practices

* Identify training needs within the region, establish training targets and scorecard, and organize and promote training events

* Consistently communicate with field leaders to ensure alignment on programs and incentives relating to business opportunity and product initiatives

* The key metrics used to evaluate the successful execution of this position will include but not be limited to:

* Increased sponsorship rates and retention rates

* Increased sales per state and region

* Field adoption of programs, incentive plans and market development initiatives

* Travel required 20-30%


* Bachelor's Degree

* 5 8 years of experience growing and developing field development staff in areas of sales success, delivering regional business initiatives, quarterly plans, budgets and performance targets

* CPG experience or Direct Sales experience is a plus

* Demonstrated experience managing field teams

* Ability to implement sales development initiatives, sales metrics and group/individual goals

* Experience monitoring and improving regional and individual's success and business outcomes

* Excellent people management skills

* Ability to scale a business that is experiencing hyper-growth

* Approachable and warm demeanor, ability to influence (in the field, as well as cross functional) and ability to manage through ambiguity

* Passion for innovation and bias for action

* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written formats

* Executive presence and experience

* Must possess an enthusiastic, up-beat disposition and positive, can-do attitude
