The Sales and Business Development Representative is responsible for developing an established territory in an effort to increase sales. They will do this by maintaining and establishing new contacts that will develop into sales leads. They will have a strong presence in the community and actively promote the BrightStar brand. Benefits * Competitive compensation package * Weekly pay with direct deposit * Expense reimbursement including car and cell phone allowance * Multiple discounts for consumer products and services * Continuing sales training opportunities Responsibilities * Call on healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics and eldercare facilities in order to generate sales for private duty homecare * Meet or exceed established sales targets * Develop marketing plan for new or existing territory * Join and attend area networking and chamber groups * Seek, develop and participate in marketing opportunities in the community * Establish working rapport with health care professionals in the territory * Other duties as assigned Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience * Ability to generate leads, manage a sales territory, maintain and build relationships with new and existing contacts * A minimum of one year experience in the home healthcare industry, preferred * Experience with public speaking (in addition to presentation skills).
