Qualifications: * Master's degree from an accredited University or College in the field of Psychology, Social Work, or counseling-related field which is consistent and appropriate with state licensure requirements. * Maintain current licensure with the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board. * Independent license required- LISW or LPCC. * Requires valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance. * Satisfactory criminal records check as required by the Ohio Revised Code section 2151.86 Primary Schedule: * Full Time * Monday- Friday * 1st Shift Esential Job Duties: The School-Based Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for providing services related to the delivery of mental health care to assigned clients at the designated school location and will provide consultation services to the school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school. Additional/Preferred Requirements: * Experience working with children/adolescents and families. * Trained in trauma informed care approaches for students and families, and the ability to use those techniques in treatment; or willing to become trained. * Must possess a strong knowledge of the common diagnoses and treatments for school aged children and possess the skills necessary to facilitate positive change in a school environment. * Travel is required to the school. * Ability to maintain confidentiality. * Ability to deal effectively with clients, staff, and outside agencies.
