Jacobs is currently seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Consultantto provide onsite and offsite support primarily in Washington, DC. Duties willinclude:

* Project Management Experience including creating project plans, level of effort analysis and project deliverable creation and quality review experience.

* Creating and modifying IT security governance, as well as IT security policy and procedures.

* Security Authorization/Security Control Assessment experience working with multiple Federal Agencies.

* Operations or Information Security Management of Federal or Commercial IT systems

* Leading collaborative sessions with Federal and Commercial vendors around security best practice standards for implementation.

* Strong background in OMB and GAO guidance, and Cybersecurity Federal Regulations.

* Strong background in NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, and NIST 800-53A, NIST 800-137, NIST 800-30 and NIST 800-39 required.

* Strong understanding of security best practice standards such as CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs, OWASP, SANS Top 20 Critical Controls and more.

* Experience using data analysis techniques to acquire, transform and translate large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, outliers, and unexpected patterns.

* Experience using critical thinking skills to convert data analysis results into actionable recommendations to business partners/clients.

* Strong written and oral communication skills.

* Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Network Systems Technology or related field or equivalent experience plus five (5) to seven (7) years of directly related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certifications.

* CISA, CISSP or CISM is required

* 5-10 years of relevant technology audit experience

* 5 years of experience in data analysis, information security

* Strong Technical Writing Abilities.

* 3-4 years of Auditing experience in NIST 800-53, A-123, FISMA, OIG and DHS Auditing is preferred.

* Ability to lead customer meetings, take meeting minutes and provide actionable recommendations for audit closure is required.

* Ability to develop reports for submission the customer for audit related activities is required.

* Ability to manage the response to large scale data calls for audits is required.

* Great interpersonal and communication skills are required.

* Experience with Excel pivot tables and excel formulas is required.

* 1-2 years of SharePoint experience is also required.

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements:

Most work will be doneat a desk or computer.

Work Environment:

GeneralOffice environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involvesextreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree ofteamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individualsacross the Company and Customers.

Equipment & Machines:

Generaloffice equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers,Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.


Attendance isrequired during core business hours. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek,normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may varydepending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtimeduring critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests forovertime should the situation occur.
