Description

The Senior Director Insurance Services will develop a book of Commercial Insurance business utilizing the four core values of Franklin Street: Collaboration, Hard Work, Accountability, and Integrity. The person in this role will possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to produce results by performing the following business building activities on a regular basis:

o Deal making o Prospecting

o Client meetings and presentations

o Negotiating

o Financial analysis

o Transaction management and ongoing account services o Database research

  • Conducts needs-based, consultative sales presentations to a wide range of individuals and independent business people.
  • Utilizes marketing tools and resources to generate new business.
  • Secures referrals and set appointments to present to prospective customers.
  • Delivers excellent customer service to existing policyholders and prospective customers.
  • Develops and maintains a professional presence in the communities in which you work.
  • Serves as a resource to Franklin Street colleagues in other divisions. Including: assisting with explanations of coverage, updates on insurance market conditions, and provider premium indications that assist colleagues with meeting their client/prospect service objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

5 or more years of proven performance as an insurance producer strongly preferred. Two or more years of applicable work/sales experience required; commissioned sales and customer service as an insurance agent, and/or experience in real estate is preferred.

Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex business documents, detailed financial summaries, and multi-tiered insurance models is required.

Demonstrated business development of a book of insurance business over $1M in agency revenue, cultivation, and relationship management skills with ability to identify customer needs and effectively communicate, position, negotiate, and drive solutions sales.

An outgoing, positive person who has the ability to develop high level relationships with property owners and business partners
