**Role and Responsibilities**

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Facilities HVAC Engineering Team Lead supporting the Facilities Operations Group. The HVAC Engineering Team Lead is accountable for an engineering team of 7+ employees that are responsible for the central utility plant and cleanroom environments of a multi-Fab Semiconductor facility. The HVAC scope includes chilled water (CHW), cooling towers (CT), steam, hot water (HW), process cooling water (PCW), air handling (AHU, MAU, CRAC), and mechanical water treatment for al systems. This role is critical to all aspects of utility delivery to ensure it meets world’s best quality, reliability, and efficiency standards. The HVAC Engineering Supervisor will lead, coordinate, and set direction for their team, and serve as key member of the overall FOM Leadership Team.

Specific Job Duties:

+ Lead, develop, and mentor team of 7+ engineers and project managers in operational and reliability engineering

+ Ensure compliance to local regulatory requirements and ISO standards. May serve as a member in relevant subcommittee’s as applicable.

+ Ensure equipment achieves quality specifications required for Fab production

+ Oversee project management for capital and expense projects within the HVAC scope, including project development and execution

+ Collaborates with operational supervisors to understand current needs and limitations of HVAC systems

+ Provide day to day support of Operational, Maintenance and Engineering issues within FOM

+ Lead incident response and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in containing and correcting problems

+ Lead team in monitoring and identifying issues within systems including quality and capacity concerns

+ Implement processes & procedures to improve and standardize work across the team & site

+ Leads Task Force Teams (TFT) to make department wide improvements

+ Perform cost and forecasting for all operational and maintenance needs for HVAC equipment

+ Lead team in developing standard operating procedures and assist in implementation

+ Provide industry contributions through conferences and other professional organizations

+ Test and implement innovative new technologies to solve business needs and improve operation

**Skills and Qualifications**

+ Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Architectural Engineering

+ 8+ years of experience

+ Previous experience in plant operations, reliability engineering, or design engineering

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, Tools:

+ Professional Engineer’s license a plus

+ Exhibit commitment to a safe, reliable, and efficient work environment

+ Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Highly adaptable to rapidly changing business needs and initiatives

+ Demonstrate strong analytical skills for assessing problems and developing corrective actions

+ Possess excellent time management and priority setting skills while having the ability to effectively advance multiple activities simultaneously and enable on-time project delivery

+ Demonstrate ability to build strong, influential relationships

+ Be able to interface professionally and effectively with all levels of management

+ Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must be able to coordinate and communicate technical information to and from all levels of the organization.

+ Experience working at an advanced manufacturing facility such as a semiconductor manufacturing plant.
