We are looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented, and organized Manager of Accounting. In this position, you will play a key role in managing the finances of our business, including creating financial transactions and generating relevant reports. You will collaborate and communicate with employees, vendors, and customers to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

+ Manage various aspects of a closing process, calculating and posting journal entries, posting subledgers, managing reconciliations.

+ Identify design and implement new or improve closing and control processes.

+ Prepare consolidate financial statements and management reporting in accordance with company policies and U.S. GAAP.

+ Develop, maintain, and effectively communicate technical and operational accounting policy and procedures in accordance with GAAP.

+ Provide key expertise knowledge of payroll tax and compliance resulting the identification and resolution of compliance matters within the organization.

+ Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

+ Establish and maintain fiscal and administrative files and records to document transactions

+ Monitors and analyzes accounting/general ledger data to assess accuracy and compliance with policies

+ Manage, oversee, or execute various aspects of daily operations of accounting functions which may include:

+ month and end-year process

+ accounts payable/receivable

+ cash receipts

+ general ledger

+ payroll and utilities

+ treasury, budgeting

+ cash forecasting

+ revenue and expenditure variance analysis

+ capital assets reconciliations

+ trust account statement reconciliations,

+ check runs

+ fixed asset activity

+ debt activity

Core Skills and Requirements:

+ 5+ years in corporate accounting environment

+ Proven working experience as Accounting Manager , Accounting Supervisor ( or Finance Manager

+ Proficiency in NetSuite a must

+ Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Excel, Shopify

+ Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

+ Proven of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

+ High attention to detail and accuracy

+ BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a Quantitative field – CPA/CMA a plus

+ Understands and has demonstrated experience with inventory accounting and controls.

+ Experience with multi-entity control environments.

+ Experience establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles

+ Demonstrated ability to make continuous improvements to accounting and control processes.

+ Experience managing and overseeing the daily operations of accounting functions and teams

+ Experience with retail, real estate, and merchandising

+ Experience support FP&A and Operations with timely analysis and research.
