Job Description

IANS is currently looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations to join the Marketing team, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing. The primary responsibilities include optimizing marketing processes and overseeing the growth and maintenance of our marketing database.

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations will possess skills and work ethic aligned with our company values of grit, results, initiative, passion, positivity, teamwork, and curiosity.


+ Optimize Marketing processes to create more efficient workflows

+ Work closely with the Salesforce team to automate manual processes and data entry wherever possible; implement deduplication strategies for account and contact data

+ Manage a database team of three to help grow our database in line with corporate growth objectives and go-to-market plans

+ Maintain a high level of data integrity and hygiene

+ Streamline and manage our database vendor relationships

+ Identify new channels, vendors or outlets for account and name development aligned with key personas and business objectives

+ Manage our marketing technology stack partnering closely with our Tech team

+ Work closely with our Head of Demand Generation to oversee our inbound demand management process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of leads to field sales

+ Establish, implement, and monitor service-level agreements between marketing and sales working closely with our BI Team on insights reporting for marketing and sales leadership

+ Work closely with Sales and Marketing leaders to create and maintain personas/job functions in our CRM for more targeted outreach

+ Participate in and contribute to total addressable market research and analysis

+ Implement data privacy best practices, including integration with a preference management center

+ Define the Marketing Operations roadmap, lead adoption, and review operational processes to drive accountability for IANS' overall go-to-market success

+ Monitor and maintain data integrity and health within marketing systems of record. Manage, grow, and audit marketing database to power analytics, contact and account augmentation, and drive targeting and segmentation work

+ Support the execution of marketing campaigns by driving coordination across various marketing functions. Own the systems and processes related to the buyer's journey through campaign management.

+ Define lead scoring criteria and operationalize the process through marketing automation systems. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure an efficient and comprehensive lead routing process

+ Oversee the evolution of measurement framework to measure marketing effectiveness, campaign execution, and spend allocation decisions. Work with cross-organization teams to develop analytics and build visibility across program performance

Desired Skills and Experience

+ Minimum of 4-6 years of B2B experience, with 3+ years in a Business or Marketing Operations capacity, and 1-2 years managing people

+ Salesforce and Pardot experience strongly preferred

+ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency of MS Excel.

+ Experience using and/or familiarity with ETL tools and data programming languages (e.g., SQL, SOQL, Python)

+ Experience with CRM/email marketing strategy, design, and operations as well as omnichannel data integration, enablement, and testing

+ Familiarity with Forrester | SiriusDecisions models and frameworks for demand planning and management and campaign execution is a plus

+ Previous experience integrating and implementing data privacy management software is a plus

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
