Your Role:


As the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics, you will work with a variety of cross-functional team members to maximize business performance by applying appropriate application of analytical tools, marketplace knowledge (pricing, promotion, competitive impacts, and environmental effects)and expertise to provide insights that feed planning and forecasting recommendations to the RCP Business Units (brand teams). This role reports directly to the Director of Analytics and will be an integral member of the Business Units. The successful candidate typically will have related experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization and will have an opportunity to:


+ Support all efforts to identify & deliver marketing analytics insights for Reynolds BUs as part of a broader Insights and Analytics Team.


+ Provide strategic partnership to business teams in identifying and articulating key business issues, learning goals and knowledge gaps for assigned projects.


+ Work with the team to apply analytic insights and contribute to the business units by addressing critical business issues in the areas of Pricing & Promotion, Marketing Mix and Forecasting.


+ Lead the effort of turning research data & results into key insights which drive growth for the business via skillful application of marketing analytics principles and measurements to the company’s strategies/tactics.


+ Provide insight and direction on how to improve ROI on trade & marketing investments.


+ Work closely with key external analytics and marketing suppliers to ensure effective data collection, measurement and application of quantitative information.


+ Collaborate with the broader Category Management, Insights and Analytics team to increase KPI measurement adoption across the business.


+ Use RCPs advanced analytical techniques to provide customized insights for customer conversations.

We need you to have:


+ A BS/BA degree (Business Administration or Statistics preferred) with a concentration in marketing/quantitative analysis.


+ 10+ years in CPG marketing analytics with strong knowledge of the technical aspects of quantitative analysis and econometric modeling (including multiple regression).


+ Significant experience executing a broad range of analytical methodologies & techniques such as Marketing Mix modeling, Price & Promotion modeling, and Forecasting.


+ In-depth knowledge of the analytic process related to Marketing Mix analyses, including collaborating with vendors/agencies on data collection, modeling and results interpretation.


+ Strong knowledge of CPG Retail Measurement databases (such as IRI and/or Nielsen) and Household panel databases (such as IRI and/or Nielsen) and how to facilitate using these data sources for quantitative analysis to develop insights.


+ Experience in the application of analytical measurements to business processes (such as media planning, business forecasting and risk planning, demand planning, price/promotion decisions, new product growth initiatives, Shopper Marketing).


+ Comfort with MS Office - PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Word.


Icing on the cake:


+ Working knowledge of IRI’s Unify systems or Nielsen’s AOD systems.
