The Role: Sr. Software Engineer


Location: Andover, MA


GL: IC 7 (for internal use only)


Profile:


Seeking .Net developer with 5+ years' experience required to meet the needs of our expanding portfolio of international financial clients. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team based out of Andover and to work with colleagues across multiple regions globally.


Responsibilities:


+ The candidate will be expected to take ownership of development tasks assigned to them and will produce high quality software to deliver design and architecture on these tasks.


+ The candidate will develop new module/component and enhance existing functionality to high standards. Adhere to best practices that enhance user experience, usability, scalability, performance, and security.


+ The candidate should be able to design or assist in designing components and subsystems based on the requirements and specifications provided by the Business Analysts.


+ The candidate will be expected to communicate and collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements. Their collaboration with Quality Assurance will ensure bugs being resolved effectively and efficiently.


What We're Looking For:


+ In-depth knowledge of OOPS, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Webservices/REST API's


+ Experience in SQL Server 2008-16, SQL queries, stored procedures


+ Good knowledge of MVC, XML and XSLT, 3-tier architecture


+ Good knowledge of web & UI technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & JQuery


+ Good knowledge of TFS & GIT


+ B.Tech/MCA or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience


+ Good to have: AWS Cloud programming, Docker Containers & Entity Framework


Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):


S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,300 - $178,000 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.


In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
