**Job Responsibilities:**


Responsibilities:


+ Coordination of all travel plans and reimbursements for conference attendance.


+ Timely processing of all budget related transactions.


+ Assists in the logistical planning of the Future Faculty Career Exploration Program.


+ Manages ordering and maintaining of offices supplies and equipment.


+ Occasionally provides support on faculty searches by identifying prospects to notify/refer to search committees through our referral process, and prospect for new sources.


+ Manages the calendar and coordinates all travel for the Assistant Provost and Assistant VP for Faculty Diversity and Recruitment.

**Required Qualifications:**


**Education**


High School diploma or GED


**Experience**


+ Demonstrated success with event planning.


+ Demonstrated administrative support experience.


+ Evidence of commitment to, and experience relating to, diversity and inclusion with special emphasis on underrepresented minorities and women.


+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


+ Customer service skills (interpersonal, problem solving, and process improvement).


+ Budget and logistics operations knowledge and experience.


+ Ability to work independently managing and prioritizing multiple demands.


+ Detail oriented.


+ Creative, innovative, and critical thinking approach to tasks.


**SKILLS**

The Senior Staff Assistant reports to and provides administrative office support to the Assistant Provost and Assistant VP for Faculty Diversity and Recruitment, and handles sensitive and confidential information. Responsible for coordination of all travel plans and reimbursements for conference attendance.
