For the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM, formerly US-VISIT), CSRA performs operations and maintenance (O&M) of the Automated Biometric Identification Systems (IDENT) production and non-production environments and associated business systems. In support of this effort, CSRA provides Task Order Management, Datacenter Operations, Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations, System Management and Monitoring, Service Request Management, Technology Analysis, and Non-production Support (to include Program Support Systems and Transition). CSRA is excited to offer you a unique opportunity to join a best performing O&M team supporting one our nations most critical homeland missions the storage and processing of biometric and associated biographic information for national security, law enforcement, immigration and border management, intelligence, background investigations, and associated testing, training, management reporting, planning and analysis.
CSRA is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Application Support Team with maintaining the operations of the application tier in production and non-production environments. Other specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working with stakeholders and developers to identify causes of system/code issues.
Deploying code and maintain baseline across many environments.
Working with security team on an on-going basis to ensure COTS comply with DHS security standards.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability
Masters degree or higher and/or 15 years of related experience.
Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Fusion Middleware administration. Managing multiple application domains. Setting and configuring multiple authenticators.
TIBCO Business Works (BW) and Enterprise Message Service (EMS) administration. Managing multiple domains. Configuring BW trace parameters for debugging.
Configuration management experience using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
UNIX shell scripting.
Working knowledge with Git/GitHub.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Desired Skills / Qualifications:
Developing SQL scripts.
Developing Jython scripting.
F5 BigIP Local Traffic Manager. Setting up and configuring VIPs and server pools. Developing and configuring iRules.
Working knowledge with PKI. Renewing and implementing security certificates.
Postfix and email server administration.
Certification in any of the following is desired:
o ITIL Foundation.
o Amazon Web Services (AWS).
o Oracle WebLogic Server
