JobResponsibilities:

  1. Responsible for storeoperation during assigned shift.

  2. Open and/or closeretail store and ensure proper procedures are followed.

  3. Assist Assistant StoreManager or Store Manager in ensuring store employees complete assigned tasks.

  4. In absence of storemanagement, delegate work assignments to appropriate associates.

  5. Perform retail salesfunctions according to the Sales Procedures Manual.

  6. Maintain compliancewith Loss Prevention standards.

  7. Complete daily reports,balance and settle charges and make store daily bank deposits.

  8. Provide customerservice in promoting merchandise, handling complaints, issuing refunds.

  9. Assist donors withdonations and provide receipts. Thank them for supporting our mission.

  10. Maintain clean orderlyfixtures of clothing, bins, showcases and windows.

  11. Sell merchandise tocustomers. Operate P.O.S. cash register system. Thank them for supporting our mission.

  12. Compile figures for thecritical measures.

  13. Perform stock dutiessuch as merchandise rotation, hanger change and display work.

  14. Perform housekeepingduties to maintain premises in compliance with agency safety and housekeepingpractices.

  15. Perform shipping andreceiving duties such as unloading shipment truck.

  16. Perform inventory ofproduct received, on display or returning to warehouse.

JobRequirements:

  1. High school graduate orthe equivalent.

  2. One year experience inretail sales performing cashiering, customer service, display,shipping/receiving and inventory duties.

  3. Ability to lead anddirect staff.

  4. Ability to operate cashregister, perform stock duties and provide customer service.

WorkingConditions:

  1. Works in retail sellingarea, stockroom and adjacent parking areas.

  2. Considerable walking,standing, reaching, lifting, carrying, talking, hearing, seeing, bending, pushingand pulling.

  3. Exposure to inclementweather.

  4. Work well with others.

  5. Must be able to liftover 40 pounds.
