Job Description

To ensure that boards are packed and shipped according to customer requirements and ensure they are shipped on time. Transfer of product between buildings- Transfer of material to factory, transfer of RMA return packages and transfer of accounting papers between buildings. Packing of product that are ready for shipping. Receiving of goods into Unicircuit and distributing to respective areas. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 8 PM, with some overtime as needed primarily on Saturday.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform a variety of packaging functions

* Shipping functions to ship product(s) according to proper handling techniques

* Knowledge of special requirements such as UPS, Federal Express and international shipping

* Print out labels for shipping

* Know shipping requirements for each customer

* Keep work area clean

* Assist the Quality inspectors when necessary

* Perform a weekly inventory of all shipping supplies and provide a list of all material needed to area manager for ordering

* Put shipping supplies on shelves and packaging materials

* Transporting packages to airport after last pickup from UPS/FedEX

* To provide courier service between the two buildings for production, material, sales, methods and accounting departments

* Transport employees if courier is going the direction they are going. Will not make special trips to accommodate people

* Handle hazardous waste as outlined in departmental work instructions

* To and from Test

* To QC and shipping

* To and from rework

* Transfer of Paradigm packages from QC, CAM and Methods

* Receiving of goods and distributing of goods

* Transfer material from material room to other building

Required Skills

* Good attention to detail

* Ability to manage multiple tasks at once

* Basic computer skills

* Able to communicate fluently (read, write, and speak) in English

* Ability to understand and follow posted procedures

* Understand and follow all safety codes

* Ability to handle boards and material with care

Physical/Mental Demands:

* Must be able to read at a distance from 1 to 2 ft, #8-9 font

* Ability to lift 50 lbs.

* Ability to work on feet for entire shift

* Maintain a fast pace with a lot of physical movement

* Unicircuit is a drug-free facility. All candidates must be able to pass a drug test.

Required Experience

Experience: 0-2 Years Relevant Experience. Previous shipping/receiving or related work experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Must be eligible to work on defense and satellite programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card').
