Opportunity is available in Georgia (with travel in the Carolinas) Pearl Pool Plastering is one of the largest swimming pool renovation and plastering companies in the country. With offices in MD, VA, NC, SC, GA and FL, we service the needs of pool builders, service companies and direct customers. Started in 1999, Pearl has grown from the original location in MD to 6 currently. The growth and expansion started in 2010 into the Raleigh, NC market, 2013 into the Charleston, SC market, 2015 into the Southwest FL market, 2018 into the Atlanta and Charlotte markets. Future locations are already in the planning stages as well. We are currently looking for a SHOTCRETE FOREMAN / NOZZLEMAN to lead a shotcrete crew (wet-mix). Job will require adequate skills for placement of structural concrete (primarily swimming pools and spas) General Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: 1) Provides basic physical labor associated with the pneumatic placement of gunite / shotcrete in accordance with established standards and principles of structural concrete. Regularly inspects and maintains nozzle(s) and hoses for application of said concrete to insure proper installation and safety. Assists crew with set-up and break-down of jobsite(s) to include protection of the environment, and surrounding real property. 2) Performs various manual tasks on the wet-mix shotcrete crew in addition to nozzle operation.  Completes work in an efficient, productive, and quality-oriented manner. 3) Inspects and maintains nozzle(s) and hose(s) to insure proper and safe installation of material(s). Makes proper repairs as necessary and immediately reports any deficiencies which may present safety or quality concerns to supervisor. 4) Requires proficiency in all areas of a shotcrete application and supervision in the performance of the duties of other crew members (Wireman/Finisher/Rodman/Pump Operator, etc) 5) Uses established methods of communication, such as hand signals, to insure proper material flow to the nozzle. 6) Assists crew with placement of plastic to protect area surrounding equipment and work areas & assists crew in set up / break down of jobsite tools and equipment. 7) Prefer active certification from either the ACI or ASA as a Shotcrete Nozzelman. Applicant must have documented nozzle experience working under a Certified Nozzleman if applicant does not possess a current certification.  References are a must. 8) Experience with line-hydraulic pumps preferred. 9) Applicant must possess the skills to work safely and efficiently at all times, be drug free, and have reliable transportation to and from work. 10) Some overnight travel is required.  Hotel and per diem provided for overnight stays. 11) Professionalism is always a must Successful Candidates Will Possess the Following Skills: 1) 3+ years experience working in general construction, concrete, structural steel, and/or concrete repair environment with an active shotcrete certification (strong references will also be considered) 2) Basic understanding of the fundamental principles of structural concrete 3) Experienced in swimming pool construction (Concrete background or Form Carpentry background is a plus but not required) 4) Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator when required on specified jobsites 5) Excellent communication skills. The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Bilingual is a plus. 6) Demonstrated knowledge of the wet-mix and/or dry-mix shotcrete process and the ability to properly place wet-mix and dry-mix shotcrete 7) Working knowledge specific to the potential hazards associated with pneumatically applied concrete and appropriate precautions to insure job site safety 8) Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License required; shotcrete certification preferred Successful Candidates Will Posses the Following Atrributes: 1) Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused 2) Aggressive -- competitive and growth-oriented 3) Outcome-oriented -- results-focused with strong performance culture 4) Team-oriented -- cooperative and collaborative Compensation Information: 1) Salary based on experience 2) Bonus opportunities based on performance 3) Benefits Options Include: Health, Dental, Disability, AFLAC, Legal, Pet, 401K  DO NOT CALL ABOUT THIS POSITION.
