Job Description:

The Social Media Manager will administer the company?s social media team.


+ Managing team of remote Social Media Specialists, which includes:

+ Establishing team processes / strategy / content calendars

+ Monitoring social analytics, auditing client success

+ Providing feedback and strategy adjustment as needed

+ Instruction for new social media tools, products, platforms, etc.

+ Topic curation for team use

+ Personally managing/posting/consulting for high-level clients

+ Meeting with clients to pitch/strategize Dealer Inspire social media services

+ Planning and goal setting for clients

+ Development of brand awareness and online reputation for clients

+ Content management for clients

+ Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.

+ Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve content

+ Create a regular publishing schedule

+ Implement a content editorial calendar for specific clients to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns

+ Client consultation

+ Become an advocate for clients? in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate

+ Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

+ Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective

+ Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) and KPIs for measuring the impact of social media campaigns.

+ Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results

+ Head up Social Media portion of SEO packages

+ Keep track of 500+ Level 2 and Level 3 SEO Clients:

+ Curate and monitor social posting schedule

+ Analyze content plans to pick out social-worthy pieces

+ Optimize meta-titles and meta-descriptions

+ Optimize and curate copy for social posts

+ Monitor and pull reporting for social pieces

+ Conduct analysis of posts quarterly and optimize types of content for social accordingly to best cater to SEO value

+ For Level 3 Clients:

+ Manage paid social campaigns, which includes Business Manager administration and strategizing of:

+ Audience Targeting

+ Platform / Campaign Types

+ Spend (and ongoing monitoring of spend)

+ Ongoing analytics monitoring

Qualifications and Experience:

+ Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing

+ Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media

+ Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

+ Maintains excellent writing and language skills

+ Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas

+ Practices superior time management

+ Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content)

+ Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly

+ Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics
