Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
The Software License Audit Specialist will partner with Accenture clients to identi fy a lack of adoption, help push utilization, and/or right size their licensing agreements to reduce expenditures. You will utilize proprietary methodologies, solutions and deep expertise in information technology (IT) spend management and software asset management. These capabilities combined with Accenture’s SynOps (https://www.accenture.com/us-en/services/business-process-services/synops-operating-engine) platform will give Accenture the ability to extend insights and purchasing expertise to help clients generate cost savings and extract greater value out of existing IT investments .
The Software License Audit Specialist will :
+ Act in the role of a subject matter expert for IBM licensing.
+ Lead IBM data collection and data analysis activities to create IBM Effective License Positions (ELPs) on behalf of clients.
+ Lead and support the delivery of client engagements including license reconciliations / self-audits, audit support, software asset management tool and process reviews, etc.
+ Support clients undergoing IBM imposed software license audits. Review auditor findings for accuracy and help customers create an audit response and negotiation strategy.
+ Help clients utilize and interpret SAM / discovery tools (Flexera, Snow, Service Now SAM Pro, ILMT, SCCM, etc.) to better track and manage IBM licenses.
+ Train and develop junior staff to support IBM engagements.
+ Assist in developing and delivering audit and software asset management related training material to clients.
+ Learn and support client needs across non-IBM software publishers as a secondary priority.
Here’s what you need:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in software licensing, software auditing and/or software asset management
+ Minimum of 3 experience with data analysis within Excel
+ License compliance experience with IBM – Additional publishers a plus.
+ Understanding of ILMT.
+ Proven track record in building client relationships and offering strategic insight into their business.
+ Passionate about technology including learning about new technologies and concepts.
+ Eagerness to solve complex business problem and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
As required by the?Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $56,484 - $129,800 and information on benefits offered is here.
