Job Description

The Wine Bar is ISO an experienced cook or kitchen manager for a position as Sous Chef!

DUTIES:
Assist with the daily operations of the kitchen and provide professional leadership and direction to kitchen personnel. Ensure that all recipes, food preparations and presentations meet restaurant specifications, with a commitment to quality. Maintain a safe, orderly and sanitized kitchen.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of years of experience in full service kitchens
  • At least 1-year experience as a Sous Chef
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50pounds.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
